Meet the future of paving: The Bergkamp Journeyman® Mobile Mix Plant is designed to provide asphalt where it wouldn't otherwise be available. Engineered with the needs of contractors in mind, we’ve made it incredibly easy to transport and set up then use recycled asphalt or virgin aggregates to create an ambient asphalt mix. Position it at or close to the paving site to drive money-saving efficiency while contributing to sustainability goals. Once in place, the Journeyman facilitates the mixing of virgin aggregate or RAP materials with water, asphalt binder (emulsion) or hot asphalt cement, and more. Its pugmill blends all material streams with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Calibration is quick and intuitive when required.
The Power of EMCADS Pro Control System
The Journeyman comes equipped with our proprietary EMCADS (Electronic Mix Control And Diagnostics System) Pro control system. With it, operators can follow the job mix formula with ease. This means aggregate, water, cement, and emulsion usage ratios are controlled and regulated automatically according to the mix design while also monitoring the performance of the entire mixing process. It also allows real-time online access to performance and GPS information of your plant. All told, EMCADS Pro helps produce a consistent mix and makes it easier for your operators.
