Bergkamp is celebrating eight and a half consecutive years without a workplace safety incident. A milestone driven by employees across the company. No matter the department - from design and fabrication to finance and customer care - team members have made safe practices part of their daily work and continue to look out for one another.

“Safety is built into everything we do,” said CEO Jason Bergkamp. “It starts with designing safe equipment, using safe work practices to build it and training customers to operate it safely. This milestone recognizes that everyone contributes to a safe workplace.”

That commitment extends beyond Bergkamp’s facilities. The company designs equipment with safety in mind and trains customers to operate it safely, supporting safer roads for the traveling public.

“Bergkamp does not cut corners when it comes to safety; it is priority number one,” said Brad Johnson, technical representative and Safety Committee team lead. He credited the safety team with continually improving safe work practices, keeping training current and regularly auditing company facilities.

Bergkamp marked the milestone with an employee recognition ceremony, barbecue luncheon and commemorative tool bags. The company remains focused on extending its safety record and strengthening the culture behind it.
