The Bergkamp Journeyman® Mobile Mix Plant has been named a Finalist in the Equipment category of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG Next Level Awards. 

Bergkamp’s Journeyman® Mobile Mix Plant took its place among the innovations recognized in AsphaltPro’s 15 Top Products of 2025.

Bergkamp will host the TREAT Day of Training July 28-30, 2026.  TREAT stands for Teaching and Researching Emulsified Asphalt Treatments.  This three day training will include a mixture of classroom teaching and live demonstrations focused on enhancing knowledge of asphalt emulsion and asphalt emulsion based treatments, and will be presented by Dr. Andrew Braham.  

On Tuesday and Wednesday Aug 12-13, 2025, Professor Andrew Braham, Ph D., P.E. from the University of Arkansas visited Bergkamp and demonstrated the TREAT Mobile Lab to an audience of local city and state agencies as well as Bergkamp employees.  

Bergkamp held it’s 48th year birthday celebration and Employee Award and Recognition ceremony on  April 5, 2025 at the Sullivan in Salina, KS.  Numerous Bergkamp employees celebrated 5, 10,15, 25, and 40 year milestones.  The evening consisted of a dinner and social hour, and then the milestone employees were recognized for their years of service and presented with service awards. 

On Wed April 12, 2025 Bergkamp officially reached the mark of Seven Years with no lost time work accidents. This stretch of working safe began on April 12, 2018.  To celebrate this milestone, Bergkamp’s Safety Team hosted a celebration lunch provided by Jim’s Chicken from Salina, and passed out employee gifts.  As a reward to all the Bergkamp employees who practice good safety habits every day, each employee received a Bergkamp branded Mag-lite and hooded sweatshirt.   

On Wednesday. April 15, 2025 Bergkamp held a demo event for the Bergkamp SP5E Spray Injection Pothole Patcher at the Brighton Colorado Public Works Facility.  Bergkamp presented a short presentation which was followed by a live pothole patching demonstration outdoors using the SP5E spray patcher owned by the City of Brighton.

During the month of May, Bergkamp employees contributed food donations of jars of peanut butter and jelly to support local agencies in Salina through Project Salina.
